I grew up on a farm with horses, dogs, cats, chickens, pigs and whatever else my parents would bring home. My mom worked at an animal hospital my whole life and it only seemed natural to follow in her footsteps and work in this field. She would always bring home some kind of animal, I liked to refer to ourselves sometimes as misfit island as they were usually pets that were different in some kind of way and sometimes needed special care. I guess that’s where my passion for animals came from and I cannot imagine my life without them. My husband and I share our home with our 3 dogs, Roxy, a Bouvier, Riggs, a French Bulldog and Ruger, a MinPin. I am truly lucky to be part of such a wonderful team here at Upper Canada Animal Hospital and look forward to seeing what the future has to offer!
